The Australian SQL Server User Group would like to invite you to attend the Australian launch of Kalen Delaney's latest publication "Inside SQL Server 2005, The Storage Engine" (Microsoft Press). This event will be conducted at Microsoft's new Melbourne offices, located at Freshwater Place, Southbank on Monday, November 27th 2006 at 5:30PM.

Kalen Delaney's series of "Inside SQL Server" books have built up a reputation over nearly ten years as the most technically rich & useful books available about SQL Server technology. This latest edition covers SQL Server 2005 engine architecture, metadata, database and file structures, the transaction log, table storage, index storage, locking and concurrency & should be a useful addition to any serious DBA or developer's bookshelf.
