Perhaps one of the most underutilized features of SQL Server... welcome to Service Broker . Through the release of Service Broker in SQL Server 2005 database developers have more choices in their arsenal to implement a ‘messaging’ solution at the database level. Service Broker allows asynchronous processing of multiple tasks that can be executed in parallel independent of each other. So it represents a solution that can be used by most organisations. In this session Anant will examine other messaging solutions available and how Service Broker is superior. Having implemented a Service Broker solution he will go through the design considerations and pain points experienced. There will be plenty of demonstrations and practical advice, so make sure you attend this one!
