There is very important functionality in SQL Server that can only be turned on via trace flags. From capturing deadlock information and analyzing locking behaviour in real-time to minimizing transactional log activity for bulk loads and improving tempdb performance. Unfortunately there is no central repository of these various trace flags. In fact, some of them are not documented at all. In this session Victor Isakov will persent the important trace flags, the caveats to using them and present use cases for when to use them. So whether you're a DBA or a database developer, you will find these trace flags extremely useful.
