This month we are very fortunate to have one of our groups’ regular audience members, Mark Stafford, present a session for the group.
Marks Business Intelligence related session will be focusing on;
a. the basics of creating a data mart
b. using SQL Server stored procedures to perform the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL); and
c. explores some of the advantages of drawing reports from normalised data reorganised into a star schema.
The target level for the session is basic to intermediate.
Mark Stafford has worked with and around SQL Server since 2000. His roles have included development, enterprise administration and in recent years a focus on reporting and Business Intelligence using both SQL Server and third party tools. He likes poetry, long walks on the beach and poking dead things with a stick.
