INTRODUCING THE NEW FEATURES IN REPORTING SERVICES 2008 R2

There are numerous new features in Reporting Services as part of the upcoming SQL Server 2008 R2 release. Join Peter Myers as he introduces all new features and with specific focus on several of the most notable. These will include the new data visualizations, comprised of data bars, sparklines, indicators and maps. Next, an exploration of shared components that promote “grab and go” report design. And finally, an introduction to the ATOM data feeds.

Peter Myers is a Busienss Intelligence mentor with Solid Quality Mentors. He has experience with SQL Server Integration Services, Analysis Services (cubes and data mining), Reporting Services, and Office Excel (client and Excel Services), PowerPivot (Excel and SharePoint), and PerformancePoint Services.
