SQL Server Virtualisation.
Typical SQL Server has not been a good candidate for Virtualisation; we will show how this has changed with SQL Server 2008 R2 and Windows Hyper-V R2. We will be looking at some of the performance issues with virtualizing SQL Server in the past and how R2 overcomes those issues. We will also be looking at SQL Server Virtualization compared to SQL Server Consolidation and help you determine which is best for your organization. The final topic we will look at is providing high availability in our SQL Server Virtualized Infrastructure.
