I know you don't write Transact-SQL code that generates errors... But perhaps your fellow DB Developer does! ;o) Consequently it is important to understand how errors are generated by SQL Server and how to handle them. Troubleshooting errors can be a bit "tricky", especially with what Microsoft changed in SQL Server 2005. Likewise, a lot of DB Developers that have been working with SQL Server for some years still some get transactions wrong sometimes.
In this session Victor Isakov (MCA, MCM, MCT, MVP) will cover SQL Server errors, how to handle them and how to troubleshoot errors. He will also cover off how to code transactions correctly.
As this is the last session of 2012 we will try to give out more prizes. So are hoping to guarantee a SQL Server prize for every attendee.
