Clustered Indexes, Non-clustered Indexes, Partitioned Indexes, Filtered Indexes... YAWN... I already know about them, give me the "exotic" stuff!
In this session Victor Isakov (MCA, MCM, MCT, MVP) will cover the more "exotic" indexes that will allow you to substantially improve the performance of how you query data that is commonly stored in databases, such as Word, PDF and TIFF files. He will also examine columnstore indexes can dramatically improve the performance of DSS, OLAP and other queries that need to scan large volumes of data. Finally (if time permits) Victor will cover geospatial and XML indexs before talking "indexing futures" in SQL Server 2014.
