[DBA] Mastering SQL Server's System Databases
Author: Victor Isakov Date Posted: 2/03/2015 1:54:29 PM
SQL Server's system databases are critical to it's health, performance and manageability. Yet most organisations do not optimize them, nor do they use their capabilities to maximise SQL Server's performance and "abilities".

In this session Victor Isakov (MCA, MCM, MCSM, MVP) will cover the master, model, msdb, resource and tempdb system databases and explore their purpose. Importantly he will examine how you can optimize SQL Server's performance through these system databases and show case how you can configure them to achieve a number of different interesting outcomes.
