SQL Server 2017 CTP 2.0 added support for storing and analyzing graph data relationships. In this session we will contrast the graph and relational models, see how the feature works in practice and peer into the crystal ball to understand how this may develop in future releases.

About the Presenter
Michael Green has been working with SQL Server since the turn of the millennium. His industry experience includes manufacturing, finance, telecoms and service companies both large and small. Early in his career he learnt that the persistence layer can make or break an application and determined to find the best ways to solve problems and add value using these tools. He is fascinated with the internals and the varying approaches taken by relational, NoSQL and NewSQL.
