Author: Grant Paisley Date Posted: 10/04/2006 12:13:02 PM
Recompilation of stored procedures can introduce performance penalties in SQL Server. In this session, Greg will cover what causes stored procedures to be recompiled, how this has changed from SQL Server 2000 and how to minimise the impact of this. He'll also cover caching of ad-hoc query batches.
