(FULL) .Net 3.0's Powerful web platform enhancements (Dino Esposito)
Author: Greg Linwood Date Posted: 7/11/2006 3:22:38 PM

The Australian SQL Server User Group & Victoria.Net are proud to invite you to a joint FREE day seminar next Monday at Microsoft's Melbourne office with international developer guru Dino Esposito who is visiting from Europe.

The paradigm of Web applications is shifting toward a more interactive pattern where requests for pages are being replaced with requests for data and browser capabilities are used to refresh the current page. In the middle-tier, the role of services is becoming prominent and workflows are beginning to be used to model and express the somewhat complex logic of business services. New challenges require a new API and a new framework. The .NET Framework 3.0 (formerly, WinFX) provides most of it including presentation, workflow, and communication foundation. In addition, ASP.NET Atlas supports the new Web paradigm and integrates it with the familiar application model of ASP.NET.

In this free seminar, you will learn the basics and feel the power of emerging .NET technologies to come up in 2007. You will see approaches for integrating presentation with workflows, services with applications and middle-tier and the thrill of truly interactive Web applications.

The seminar will help you to stay ahead of the curve and make architecture adjustments now rather than rewrite everything from scratch later. Time is money, and timely is better.
