Danny Tambs (Microsoft Consulting Services) - Mystery Session

Danny Tambs will be a holidng a 'mystery' session at the April User Group. He intends to present on either Partial Database Availability or Performance Tuning.

About the Presenter
Mr. Danny Tambs is a senior consultant with Microsoft Consulting Services specializing in database technologies. With over 18 years experience in the IT industry, Mr. Tambs and has held a number of positions at Microsoft relating to SQL Server ranging from development, to escalation engineering, and consulting. Through many years of hands on consulting with SQL Server and working directly with customers, Mr. Tambs is able to quickly identify pain points and help clients reach resolution.

He is the lead database consultant heading a team of consultants in driving mission critical projects with SQL Server. He has been involved in driving numerous benchmarks with third party systems for Microsoft, and architecting high throughput OLTP applications. Key focus areas are distributed application design and database performance tuning for large systems.
