Shu Scott is on the Microsoft SQL Server Development team and I have snaffled him before he heads off to give the same session at TechEd Gold Coast. So this is the Friday before normal meeting date.

Writing Applications that Make SQL Server 2005 Fly
- How to design DB, write queries/batches/SPs to take advantages of SQL Server 2005’s strengths and avoid pitfalls
- Query Processing internals and how to influence the query plans generated (mostly for more advanced audience)
- Concentrate on SQL 2005.
Touch on a few related SQL 2008 features and discuss why these new features are needed.
