SQL Server Analysis Services Writeback – budgeting and forecasting
Author: Rob Farley Date Posted: 1/07/2008 6:47:20 PM
An increasingly important feature of Analysis Services is a function called “Writeback”. Mark Fuller will demonstrate and discuss some of the fundamentals from a users perspective, rather than the nitty gritty of the backend. The why and when and the pros and cons of this function will be discussed (and debated if required).

Mark Fuller is a Principal Consultant with mhm. mhm is a leading accounting, corporate finance and management consulting firm, servicing clients throughout Australia and Asia. Mark heads up the Microsoft business intelligence practice at mhm. Mark doesn’t hold any Microsoft certifications and doesn’t blog, but he has been in the Business Intelligence industry for 12 years, so has plenty of war stories and breadth of knowledge in the BI industry.
