Undeniably, the upcoming release of Microsoft’s PowerPivot technology has piqued the interest of both the SQL Server Business Intelligence and SharePoint communities. This session introduces and demonstrates the PowerPivot environment commencing with the installation procedures, the integration and use of the Excel 2010 add-in (complete with a look at the new DAX language) all the way through to the publishing to and displaying of PowerPivot analytic reports within the SharePoint 2010 environment.
About the Presenter
Mark Morton is a senior trainer and consultant at Myriad Technologies. Mark works with Microsoft products and technologies such as SharePoint, SQL Server, the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack as well as third party product such as Nintex Workflow. Mark is a regular presenter at Microsoft community events such as TechEd and the local user groups and has wide experience in the ‘real world’ of Business Intelligence consulting.
