From Data To Information (Mark Stafford)

This month we are very fortunate to have one of our groups’ regular audience members, Mark Stafford, present a session for the group.

Marks Business Intelligence related session will be focusing on;
a. the basics of creating a data mart
b. using SQL Server stored procedures to perform the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL); and
c. explores some of the advantages of drawing reports from normalised data reorganised into a star schema.

The target level for the session is basic to intermediate.

Bio information:
Mark Stafford has worked with and around SQL Server since 2000. His roles have included development, enterprise administration and in recent years a focus on reporting and Business Intelligence using both SQL Server and third party tools. He likes poetry, long walks on the beach and poking dead things with a stick.
