*** PLEASE NOTE: THE USER GROUP MEETING IS ON THE THURSDAY! ***

Are you still using SQL Server Profiler to troubleshoot performance? That is so old school! And "deprecated"...

So what should you be using? Extended Events (XEvents) of course!

In this session Victor Isakov (MCA, MCM, MCT, MVP) will cover this new technology and how it can be used to troubleshoot problems within SQL Server. Victor will discuss what XEvents are and their internals before looking at the differences between the difference releases of SQL Server. Finally he will discuss the available tools and demonstrate a number of scenarios to show how powerful troubleshooting SQL Server this way can be!
