DBA: Storage - The Key to SQL Server Performance
Author: Victor Isakov Date Posted: 30/01/2013 1:22:32 PM
It's quite simple, your storage subsystem is key to your SQL Server's performance. And in today's hardware ecosystem there are more storage choices than ever. It's important to understand how to correctly provision the storage subsystem for your critical SQL Server databases.

In this session Victor Isakov (MCA, MCM, MCT, MVP) will examine the different storage options available to SQL Server and discuss their pros and cons. Victor will also cover how to capacity plan your databases, optimize your storage solution for SQL Server and how to identify / troubleshoot storage problems. This should prove to be an invaluable session that you can use when you next deploy or upgrade your SQL Server solution.
