Author: Darren Gosbell Date Posted: 8/10/2013 5:03:47 PM
In terms of Technology Telstra is a multi BI vendor environment, it has at least one of everything, lots of most things and some twins. See how Telstra uses Microsoft technology to create a next generation Business Intelligence Portal and Reporting Platform, built to scale across one of the largest and most graphically diverse companies in Australia. SQL Server 2012 and SharePoint 2013 provide a Data Platform and Business Analytics solution. An open platform to realise value from years of investment and enable development for the future in a cost efficient manner. See how Telstra enables Self-Service BI for all users in a ubiquitous manner. Telstra have taken advantage of many of the tools in the Microsoft BI Platform and we'll show you how we gain business benefit from PowerView, PowerPivot and X-Velocity in memory technology. This presentation will take you through the project from inception to implementation, architecture to delivery, products and tools, business justifications and benefits.

We'll show you how Telstra created a one stop shop for all key reporting and analytics to enable Telstra to;
- build it once
- remove manual processes
- inspire collaboration

In a world where we have to do more with less, this is how to do it.
