Yet more organizations are failing security audits than ever before. is it too difficult to deploy a secure SQL Server environment? In this session Victor Isakov (MCA, MCM, MCSM, MCT, MVP) is going to present an end-to-end session on security in SQL Server. This journey will cover topics such as encryption, auditing, SQL injection, surface area reduction and compliance. Victor will also cover SQL Server security features, including SQL Audit, Policy Based Management, and Transparent Data Encryption and how to use them.

Victor Isakov is a Database Architect and Microsoft Certified Trainer who provides consulting and training services to various organizations in the public, private and NGO sectors globally, and been involved in different capacities at various international events and conferences. He has authored a number of books on SQL Server and worked closely with Microsoft to develop the new generation of SQL Server Certification and Microsoft Official Curriculum for both instructor led training (ILT) and e-Learning. He is one of the first IT professionals to get the Microsoft Certified Master and Microsoft Certified Architect certifications globally.
