Creating a SQL Database for an absolute beginner
Posted: 31 May 2018 12:47 AM
Hi,

I have a project in mind that requires a database and I would like to begin learning SQL, as that is what we use at my work, but know absolutely nothing about programming or databases currently. What I'd like to do is create a database of the Spells from Dungeons and Dragons v3.5, from all of the books with errata, and compile it into a searchable database with a front end of some sort. I know I won't be able to distribute this due to copyright but it would be extremely handy for me rather than having to dig through the 40 or so books that they are spread between at the moment.

Video content production agency

Thanks!
