sql server 2000 with ruby on rails works? 16/10/2017 9:55:51 PM   (Total replies: 0)
I'm trying to use Ruby on Rails accessing a pre-existing database on SQL Server 2000. After some research I found that it should use the gem activerecord- sqlserver-adapter. Create a connection via ODBC to the desired base, and creating a database user for access it. Thanks I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References B2B Video Marketing

One of my clients has an application that only requires “SQL Server 2000 Personal Edition” (the new versions of SQL are not supported). Tried going to Microsoft’s download center to get “SQL Server 2000 Personal Edition”, but all I found were the service packs. I also talked to the client about getting an updated version of the application he is using, but it is not cost effective. Does anyone know where I can get/buy a copy of “SQL Server 2000 Personal Edition”? Thanks I didn't find ...

There are many people and apps that hit this table. the value increments as normal most of the time, but every now and then, we get a low value, as if someone uses and identity insert or reseeds it and it causes issues. So, I'm trying to find out the user that may be doing it. I set up a trigger (this is a non-prod env) to log if a new value is used lower than the max value and it logs to a staging type table. I got a hit and asked the user what they ...
