Hi, I have a project in mind that requires a database and I would like to begin learning SQL, as that is what we use at my work, but know absolutely nothing about programming or databases currently. What I'd like to do is create a database of the Spells from Dungeons and Dragons v3.5, from all of the books with errata, and compile it into a searchable database with a front end of some sort. Hi, Aside from all the other problems with what you've asserted, there's this one: .NET is categorically different from something like Java in that it's built from the ground up to be a platform which blends the best of both managed and unmanaged worlds.My understanding is that inside Microsoft, there's still not all that much C# going on, at least in comparison with the amount of C++.
